Patsy Kimball Saatjian

Owner, Studio Manager, Marketing and Special Events

Patsy is a proud fourth generation Montana native. After receiving a Master’s Degree in Education, teaching school for two decades, and living away from Montana for 15 years - Patsy was eager for a change of career and lifestyle.  She started the process by encouraging husband, Ken, to start his own jewelry studio in her home state of Montana… where they had first met.  Now Patsy works full time at Jewelry Studio with her family and friends.  In addition to helping clients find the perfect piece of jewelry, Patsy loves planning events and promotions that are both imaginative and entertaining.

Ken and Patsy are hands-on owners of their business.  They are personally involved in every detail of their jewelry business.  They hand-select each piece of jewelry and every gemstone placed in their showcases.  The Saatjians only choose pieces that they personally value for beauty, quality, and artisanship.

After serving five years in the U.S. Army, which included an extended 16 month combat tour in Iraq, Charles was eager to join the family business and return to Bozeman.  Before joining the family business, his parents insisted that Charles follow his father’s footsteps and obtain the best possible jewelry training in the world.  Charles was a full-time student for two years at the distinguished Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California.  Charles was awarded the revered top full-ride scholarship at GIA.  While at GIA, Charles received state-of-the-art training in all facets of the jewelry industry.  Charles became proficient in diamond grading and gemstone identification.  He holds the prestigious title of GIA Graduate Gemologist, which is internationally recognized as the hallmark of accomplishment, credibility, and distinction with professionals within the jewelry industry.

Additionally, Charles focused his attention on becoming skilled at the most technologically advanced systems in the design and construction of fine jewelry.  Charles finds it extremely rewarding to help clients design the ring or piece of their dreams.  “We pride ourselves on creating that special one-of-a-kind heirloom piece of jewelry and giving our customers personalized custom designs of the highest possible quality. That is why we are known as Bozeman’s Bridal Specialist,” says Charles.

Charles, a graduate of Bozeman High School, is thankful to be back home in Bozeman with his wife Krystle and their young daughter Ivy.
